Wednesday!

Students have a big science test tomorrow that will be averaged in 1st quarter grades. We did a practice test in class any many other things to help prepare in the last week.

Money and permission for our trip next week is due tomorrow.

Parent-Teacher-Student Conference

Parents & Guardians,

It's the time of year for Mandatory Parent-Teacher-Student Conferences.  I meet with all families to discuss your student's grades, work/study habits, and behavior.  I also need you to sign some important paper work.  Conferences will be scheduled after school for 15 minutes back to back.  Please be prompt and bring your student to the conference.

This year I am using a website (signupgenius.com) to schedule conference.  Below is a URL to this site as well as our classroom websites where you can find a link to the site.  If you do not have internet access you may call me at the school to schedule a time to conference.

Tomorrow is pink out day

Students must have a collar. They may wear a pink tshirt over a uniform shirt. Suggested donation is a $1.

Thursdays HW

We did not get to work on the motion graphs in class. This assignment will not be graded. They just need to try. We will go over answers in class.

Egg drop day

We had a great time at the research campus today testing our egg drop parachutes!

Monday's HW

Students were given a new reading log to complete for HW. It requires a signature daily and is due next Monday 10/28/13

Wishing for good weather on Monday

I hope you have a good weekend and that we have great weather for our field trip to complete the Egg Drop project on Monday. We will be outside and students need to dress for the weather.
Green Reading logs are due Monday with 5 entries.

Students will be going to the NCRC next Monday (weather permitting) for an Egg Drop.  We will be working in class in small groups on this project.

Tomorrow is the trip to Skateland and Sweet Frog for students that earned it during the Fundraiser.  Student must have turned in a signed in permission slip to attend.  The permission slips were passed out last week.
