Progress Reports & Trip to UNCC

I sent home progress reports with all students today.  Please review the information with your student, sign, and return to school ASAP.  Student that do not have a signed progress report here on Friday will have silent lunch.  If you have any questions or concerns about your student please let me know.

On Thursday we will be going to UNCC to do a tour and watch a basketball game.  Students that did not reserve a school lunch on the permission slip will need to bring a lunch and drink from home.  Although most of the day will be indoors, please make sure that your student is dressed appropriately for the weather and is wearing good shoes for walking.

'Tis the season to be snotty...

I wanted to let you all know that I was out yesterday with strep.  The doctor said that I was no longer contagious because it has been 24hrs since my first dose of antibiotics.  Apparently there has been a lot of viruses and other bugs going around recently and I wanted to make sure that you were aware and took appropriate precautions.  Below is a link to a video about how easily germs spread in the classroom and I thought today was a perfect day to share.
