The BEST Field Trip Ever!

March 7, 2016

Dear Students and Families,

We have exciting news to share with you. Students in D and H pods have the opportunity to go on an amazing field trip to the White Water Center on at the end of the year to participate in team building activities. Students will learn and utilize team work and communication skills to complete a low ropes course and modified rafting trip. All of the activities are tailored to meet our students physical and developmental needs and will be led by park officials. This will be an unforgettable experience for students.

The cost of the field trip, including transportation, is $42.00. We would like to work with families to lower the cost per student through various fundraising opportunities. Students will participate in a read-a-thon, we will hold a t shirt sale, and parents can share a GoFundMe link (https://www.gofundme.com/whitewatercenter) created by D and H pod teachers. Together, we will make every effort to make this trip as affordable to students and parents as we can.

If you have any additional fundraising ideas or connections within our community to organizations who would be willing to make a donation, please let your child's teacher know. We thank you in advance for your cooperation in providing this amazing opportunity to our students.

Sincerely,

The D and H Pod Teachers
