Free Community Egg Hunt

March 13, 2014

HUNTERSVILLE, NC:  Historic Rural Hill will host its Fifth Annual Free Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Children of all ages and their families are invited to take part in hunts for prize eggs, spoon races, balloon tosses, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and living history demonstrations.

Two egg hunts will be held: one at 11 AM for children 4 and under, and another at 11:30 AM for children 5 and over. Please arrive early to ensure that your child is able to participate in his or her hunt.

For a small charge, visitors can also take part in around-the-farm hayrides and play in bounce houses, and a food & refreshments vendor will be on hand to please! The 265 acre historic site provides ample space for families to picnic and explore.

*Fees apply for hayrides and bounce houses.
